DVF committed to safety during COVID-19

DVF remains committed to its clients, employees and community during CDC restrictions

Updated March 23, 2020

With the increasing concerns regarding COVID-19, DVF wants to assure our clients that we are constantly monitoring the situation and doing our part to help limit the spread and the impact of the virus.

During this evolving health situation, the safety and well-being of our staff, clients and families is our main priority.  At this time, we feel the safest thing for us to do is follow the CDC guidelines and restrict all visitors to our building.

We want to assure you that DVF is committed to providing the same level of service that you have always received. Our professionals are still working and available via email, phone, text, and online meetings.

Even though the tax deadline has been moved to July 15th, our staff is diligently working to complete returns, and we encourage you to send us your information.  You may do so in the following ways:

Email

Each staff member has a link to their secure portal located in their email signature. You can upload documents directly to them by clicking that link.

Fax

Documents can be faxed to the Murfreesboro office at 615-893-8047 or to the Lebanon office at 615-444-2639.

Mail

Mail is being received daily. You can send your organizer along with any documents in the green & white mailer.

Secure drop box

When you drop your paperwork off, consider using our secure lock box. The Murfreesboro office has a box located on the back door. The Lebanon office lock box is located on the carport by the back door.

“Curbside Service”

You may come to our parking lot and call our front desk.  We will come to your vehicle to assist with picking up your return, or dropping off your information.  The number for Murfreesboro’s front desk is 615-893-6666 and Lebanon’s is 615-444-4125.

On behalf of all of us at DVF, thank you for your understanding and support during these challenging times.  These steps are necessary to preserve the health of our staff, clients and community.

Our goal is to help curtail the spread of this virus while maintaining our commitment to you.  DVF will also work diligently to update you with information regarding filing delays and any other information as it is made available by the federal, state and local governments.

DVF committed to safety during COVID-19

Updated March 20, 2020

Dempsey Vantrease & Follis PLLC is committed to the health and safety of our staff and clients during the COVID-19 crisis.

Our leadership has been working diligently on plans to limit the spread of the virus and follow CDC guidelines while conducting business and serving you, our valued clients.

To help insure CDC compliance we are doing the following:

  • Thoroughly cleaning our offices, equipment and public spaces multiple times during the day
  • Conducting good personal hygiene and handwashing
  • Limiting personal contact and maintaining a safe interpersonal distance
  • Encouraging email and online communication between our staff and clients as much as possible

April 15th is quickly approaching and we have a large number of tax returns to be done before then.  While our business is still open to clients, we are encouraging those who still need to provide us with their tax information to do the following if possible:

  • Email, fax or mail us your tax information.  Under our staff’s email signature information is a link to our secure portal.  By sending us information via this portal your information is secure and cannot be seen by anyone else.
  • If you prefer to drop your paperwork off at our Murfreesboro office, consider using our secure lock box which is located on our back door.  We will have a secure lock box located in the back of our Lebanon office by next week.

For those of you who have scheduled appointments in the office, we look forward to seeing you.  However, if you have concerns about coming to the office please consider the options listed above.

This is a new situation for all of us.  We will keep you updated if we need to change any of our procedures as the weeks go by.  We are here to help you and want to keep you and our staff as safe as possible.

Thank you.
